Summer Reading for All Students 
Students are expected to read a minimum of four books. Wakefield Public Schools recommends that students read both fiction and non-fiction titles. ​As in years past, the Lucius Beebe Library has generously provided Wakefield Public Schools with age-appropriate, relevant titles for all students in grades K-12.​ Students are free to read any titles of their choosing- regardless of whether a title is on these lists or not. In September, students and faculty may choose to discuss summer reading.​ WMHS students enrolled in AP classes are expected to participate in the summer reading program in addition to all AP assignments. WPS Elementary Schools : Grade 1 | Grade 2 | Grade 3 | Grade 4
Galvin Middle School : Grades 5 - 6 | Grades 7 - 8
Wakefield Memorial High School : Grades 9 - 10 | Grades 11 - 12
